3. COURSES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
CRE 0001. HISTORY OF CIVILIZATION:
This course traces how civilization started, beginning with the ancient civilization of Egypt. Much emphasis will be laid on the modern civilization brought by the church since AD 100 till date. The schools, the hospitals, church organizations and the contributions of Christianity to the present civilization will also be focused. This course will help the student to be well brushed.
CRE 0002. HISTORY OF AFRICAN NATIONS
This course treats all about the nations of Africa and the effects of Christianity in each of the nations. The major religions of each nation of Africa will be examined and evaluated. The purpose of this course is on the African world and plan for solutions to evangelize them. This course will help the student to be missionary motivated and inspired.
CRE 0003. HISTORY OF EDUCATION IN WEST AFRICA
This course treats how western education reached the West Africa community and the impact made by the western education in West Africa. The main purpose of this course is to motivate the student to value the great treasure in our present education. This course will help the student to be fully acquired.
CRE 0004. HISTORY OF EDUCATION IN NIGERIA
This course traces the origin of education in Nigeria and all the benefits of western education to the present day Nigerians schools, hospitals, churches and universities as parts of today's educational benefits will be reviewed. This course will help the student to be academic conscious and serious every day.
CRE 0005 PRE HISTORIC AFRICAN EDUCATION
This very course traces the pre historic ancient and traditional educations in Africa before the western civilization and education. The ancient African trades, meetings, marriages, buildings, family training, kingships, organizations and intertribal relationships shall be focused to give meanings to this course. This course will help the student to see education as natural and internal to man.
CRE 0006. TRADITIONAL HEBREW EDUCATION
This course treats the Hebrew traditional education which started with Abraham “tell it to your sons and to your sons” sons when your sons shall ask you what meaneth these”. The religious education in Israel is the major focus in course. The lawgiver, the war commanders, the judges, priests, kings, elders, prophets and the scribes in Israel will be looked into. The educational duties of the scribes and kings and priests shall be looked into. This course will help the students to know the Bible education.
CRE 0007. INTRODUCTION TO BIBLE EDUCATION
Babylonian and Hebrew educations as were revealed in the Bible and by history. The ancient Greek philosophy and other related ideas of education should be of great importance. The letters of old, writings and other signs that revealed education shall be captured. This course will help the student to see education as an old investment in the world.
CRE 0008. EDUCATION IN AFRICA
This course excavated the origin of both traditional and western education in Africa with emphasis on their impact to the present day Africans. The relationship between such educations and Christianity will also be considered as major factor. This course will help the student to be academically mature and be very nurtured.
CRE 0009. EDUCATION AND GREEK PHILOSOPHY
This course treats the origin, activities and all teachings of the Greek philosophers with the aim to share the benefits, which the present world of education derived from such early philosophies. The primary focus of this course is to help the student understand the benefits, which our people gained from the Greek philosophers' thoughts. This course will help the student to know and to draw conclusion, and know how to create ideas.
CRE 0010. MISSIONARY EDUCATION
This course is different from Christian education, while Christian education talks about how to teach the insiders, win souls and educate the church, this course talks about how the church can still educate the world of darkness. The church education majors and treats the education, salvation, civilization and progress brought by the church and future ones the church can bring to change the world. The student will learn how to effect changes with education in this world.
CRE 0011. HISTORY OF CHURCH IN AFRICA
This course gives the light on how the church came to the Africa and the impacts made by the early workers of the gospel. The aim of this course is to show the early reception of the Africans to the gospel. The student will be motivated to regain the lost ground after this course.
CRE 0012. CHRISTIANITY IN WEST AFRICA
This course unveils how Christianity came to the West African coast with major emphasis on Nigeria. This course aims at educating the student to be well acquaint with how the gospel came to our fathers in West Africa. This course will change the student to preserve that which were handed ever to our fathers and that which were also committed to our charge.
CRE 0013. PHILOLOGY
This course has to do with the languages, cultures, religions’ peoples and atmospheres that received, preserved and spread the gospel. Emphasis shall be laid on Hebrew, Greek and Latin languages, cultures and peoples. This course will help the student to keep and transfer the gospel to the next generation to come.
CRE 0014. INTRODUCTION TO ANCIENT WORLD EDUCATION
This courses traces the impact of education in Egypt, in Babylon, in Palestinian world, in Romans and in the ancient Greek world. This course is in equal class with pre-historic education. Emphasis shall be laid on the laws of Hammurabi, Pharaoh's code of conducts, Nebuchadnezzar's laws and kings and kingdoms of the old and their commandments.
CRE 0015. AFRICAN TRADITIONAL EDUCATION
This course is on the traditional training in African concept, which is still going on today in different nations in Africa. Emphasis shall be laid on discipleship in Igbo land, in Ibibio and Yoruba methods of training. This course has to do with the methods of training, discipleship, conducts and how to build moral character in African traditional education. This course will help the student to be more disciplined.
CRE 0016. SUNDAY SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN THE CHURCH
This course is all about the management of the cash, members, visitor's activities and all records of the Sunday school in our churches. Students will learn how to organize and conduct all about Sunday school in the local church level. This course will help the student to cause church growth through his local church Sunday school programme.
CRE 0017. EXEGESIS OF SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISERIES
This course is different from Sunday school management, it is all about Sunday school history, evangelism through Sunday school department, enlargement campaign of Sunday school, visions of Sunday school department and out-reach ministries, of the Sunday school in the church. This course will make the student to use Sunday department as an organ of evangelism in the church.
CRE 0018. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION 1
This course has to do with the growth and development of man, the problems of the children, the problems of the youths, the problems of the junior adults and the problems of the senior adults and how best to communicate the gospel to them at their receptive times and ages. This course will help the student to know how to manage and lead his church.
CRE 0019. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION 11
This course has to do with the physical and spiritual constitutions of man as was revealed by the Bible. It also teaches why and when man is sensitive and resistant to the gospel. It is the over view of the spiritual and physical elements in man that has made him receive and reject the truth.
CRE 0020. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION 111
This is a course teaching on the spiritual, social, physical, physiological and material needs of man, how such problems come, the condition of man is heart, when all or one of such problems is around, the cure to such problems and the Biblical advice to restore man in his right mind. This course will unveil how to Communicate the gospel to such man in any of these problems. This course will help the students to know how to take care of his troubled members in the church
CRE 0021. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IV
This course is all about the two environments of man, the world and the church and how man can possibly live in the two, the daily activities of man and how can man live in this sinful world. This course will differentiate the nature of man, the life in the world and the life in the church and conclude all with the destiny of man if he abides in God's word. This course will help the students to know the blessings in obeying God.
CRE 0022. PSYCHOLOGY OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT
This course has to do with how to train the children with the word of God, all about children Sunday school, children church, salvation of children and its evidences and how to educate the children with God's word at their early ages. Its primary purpose is to indoctrinate children with God's word. This course will help the student to understand how to handles children in the church at their early stage.
CRE 0023. GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING
This is an educational course which majors on guidance and how to shape the idea, thought and the mind of the client, especially when in crisis or life conflict. It has to do with the leadership of the mind and the control of wrong feelings, bad behaviour, fear or tension. The student will learn how to control crisis, tension and life conflicts of their clients.
CRE 0024. INTRO TO DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPY
This is the course that treats on how to develop the client and the process of developments beginning with the infants to the age of seventy (70). Each period of life between 1-6, between 7-12, between 13-19, 20-25 and so on and so forth till the age of 70 years has a particular experience and developmental process in life. The student will learn how to counsel, teach and coordinate with people of different age circles and age differences in life. The student will learn how to train Christian adherents.
CRE 0025. DISCIPLINE AND PUBLIC BEHAVIOUR
Discipline and public behaviour is a course meant to help the student to understand moral conduct, get the life, disciplined life, training ethics, public behaviour including public activities. The course will help the student to be disciplined and also help him to produce disciplined members from his or her church. This course will help the student to be a good disciplinarian as a gospel minister in Nigeria and in Africa.
CRE 0026. PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
This has to do with the purpose, culture and the reason for education. It is why, how, when and methods of education. Emphasis will be laid on Christian education and benefits on information and academic training. The student will be helped to understand the need and importance of education and how to plan for education programmes and curriculum.
CRE 0027. PSYCHOLOGY OF EDUCATION
This course is different from the secular idea or secular sense of education. The psychology of education simply expresses what education is all about, the thoughts to be registered in education, the main purpose and objectives of education. This is different from philosophy of education. This course is life.

CRE 0028. PHILOSOPHY OF LEARNING
This course has to do with learning ethics and learning methodology. It is all about learning. How to study, how to learn, environment of learning, and the purpose of learning, benefits of learning and how to impart knowledge into the learner. The student will be blessed with the power to communicate ideas to the learners. This course will make the student a great teacher.
CRE 0029. WESELYAN CHURCH EDUCATION
This course has to do with three areas of education in the church in order to achieve heart purity. The idea is on how to coordinate, how plan, how to teach, the materials to teach, the purpose of teaching and the philosophy of teaching (a) Sunday school in the church (b) Bible studies in the church (c) house fellowship of the church. These three institutions need education and all we are doing is to bring the student to the sound Biblical reasoning through these three areas of church education. The student will learn good coordination, needed materials and how to teach in Sunday schools Bible studies and house fellowships and how to use these three institutions to cause church growth and revival.
CRE 0030. CRAFT OF TEACHING
This course teaches all about the teaching ethics, teaching technology, mode of teaching, arts of teaching, purpose of teaching and how to teach effectively as a pastor, teacher, apostle or as a prophet of God. It goes deeper to teach on how to produce teachers and talented men and women who will be involved in teaching habits. The students will be blessed with the craft or secrets of effective teaching as the gospel ministers.
CRE 0031. PRINCIPLES OF BIBLE STUDIES
This is how to study the Bible, the mood of understanding the Bible, when, where and why study the Bible. The student will be helped on how to achieve private devotion, family devotion, church devotion, public devotion or how to use the Bible to solve our problems. Bible quotations leading or relating to daily problems and what the scripture says about our needs, problems and situation will be of great help to use God's word to solve their problems. The interpretations of the Old Testament scriptures that are fulfilled in the New Testament will also be compared and be explained in detail.
CRE 0032. HISTORY OF SUNDAY SCHOOL
This course traces how Sunday school started, the founder of the Sunday school, the origin and the year it started. The benefits of Sunday school and the contributions of Sunday school to the growth of the church will be traced and be reviewed. It is different from the Sunday school management and Sunday school ministries in the church. This course creates vision to student and challenges them to face ministerial task before them. The student will learn how to carry on their visions after this course.
CRE 0033. HISTORY OF HOUSE FELLOWSHIP
This course traces the origin of house fellowship, the originator of house fellowship in this age, the year it started and the benefits and contributions through the house fellowship. The course will unveil how house fellowship has helped to spread the gospel. This course is different from the management of house fellowship. The course will help the student to stick at his God given vision and use that to score his goals in the ministry.
CRE 0034. THE MANAGEMENT OF HOUSE FELLOWSHIP
This course start by referring to what the Bible teaches about the early churches in the homes, the church in thy house”. This course has to do with “how the house fellowships should be organized, coordinated, managed and directed in order to produce tangible results and enviable fruits to the glory of God our father. It helps the student to understand how wonderfully the house fellowship can be a serious means of church growth, stability and church progress in our days.
CRE 0035. CHRISTIAN ETHICS
This course is an educative course unveiling the mode and mood of Christian conducts. It is different from ministerial ethics which is very peculiar to ministers but this is for all believers in general. It teaches what to do, how to do it, when to do something and how best to behave in a public or private function. The duties of Christians, cultures and customs of the church will be reviewed and be visited. The student will be helped to know what to do and how to do all at any given occasion.
CRE 0036. BOOK REVIEWING ETHICS
This course is peculiar and treats how to possess the habit of reading, writing and studying books, journals, articles and other helpful write ups. The student will be exposed to reading at least one chapter which should not be less than four pages every day. What the student derived and what he also researched will be majored. Weekly or monthly reports from the student will be expected, students will be authors and authorities after this course.
CRE 0037. GRAPHOLOGY
This course has to do with writing ethics, it has to do with how to write, what to write and how to make outlines, handouts, sermon topics, Bible study lessons, teaching materials and how to write our proposed ideas for teaching our churches. Nevertheless, brief introduction of reading ethics will be emphasized and unveiled as well. This course is otherwise called writing and reading ethics in the church. The student will be helped to be a good composer and a good documenter in his ministry.
CRE 0038. PODIUMOLOGY
This course is different from communication and different from public speaking. It is all about “how to speak or how to teach. This is other-wise called speaking ethics. It tells how to preach, teach or communicate to the audience according to the programme at hand. Examples of this are preaching about marriage, family, home or couple’s life when invited to preach at wedding and not preaching on tithing or soul winning. Another example, preaching on finance, giving, sowing, harvest or liberal heart when invited for fund raising and not preaching on holiness. It is preaching on the need for training, education, Christian ministry or missions when invited for Bible college graduation. The course is what the man at podium must say according to the occasion he was called or invited to speak. It does further unveil his attire, appearance, life, spirituality, what to do and what not to do at the pulpit (the podium).
CRE 0039. BIBLE GEOGRAPHY
This course is the geography of the holy land. It draws its map from the major events of the Bible. The old and New Testament worlds shall be majored to help the student understand the Bible world. Names of cities, rivers, hills, mountains, important individuals and areas of great event shall be majored. This is also called the holy land studies and must definitely help the student to understand the areas of events in the Bible and how things were done also.
CRE 0040. PASTORAL COUNSELLING
This is one of the greatest tasks of Christian education. This course has to do with the issue of bringing the troubled heart to his right mind and to his normal self. Until a man comes to his right mind, he is not yet complete and any incomplete person needs counseling. It has to do with how to bring the following affected individuals and victims to their right mind; the sick, the fearful, the neurotic, the drug addicted, the possessed, the infected, the sinner, the abused, the lonely, the bereaved, the poor, the less privileged, the occultist, the epileptic, the stroke, the psychiatric, the homeless, the orphan and others with one psychological problem or the other to their normal reasoning.
CRE 0041. BIBLE CRITICISM
This is a course which deals on educative subject of what the non-Christian organization said about the Bible, their accusations, criticisms, rejections and argument on the truth and the major issues on the table. The following matters and issues will be discussed:
a. What the Islams say about the Bible.
b. What the Hindus say about the Bible.
c. What the ancient heathen say about Hebrew God.
d. What the watch towers say about Christians.
e. What the present heathens say about the Bible.
f. What did the sinful world say about the Bible?
g. The testimony of the Bible about the itself.
This course will help the student to trust the Bible.
CRE 0042. INTRODUCTION TO VOCABULARY BUILDING
This course speaks about four areas of vocabulary and how to acquire them, it talks about:
a. Hearing vocabulary which treats the hearing and understanding of what others are saying.
b. Speaking vocabulary, which treats how to speak to people and how to make meaningful suggestion through speaking.
c. Writing vocabulary, which seems to be the highest and deals on how to express ideas, thoughts and issues through writing?
d. Reading vocabularies which treats how to read what others have written and have equal understanding with the author. The students through this course will be helped to be an academic and qualified Christian authority. The student after this course will conquer fear, shyness, inferiority complex and shivering while sitting with learned men in the society.
CRE 0043. BIBLE PSYCHOLOGY
This course has to do with the behaviours, temperaments and attitudes of the Bible heroes. Emphasis will be laid on the five basic temperaments of man and to compare such with the temperaments of man and to compare such with the temperaments of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob Moses, David, Peter, Paul and others at our reach. It has also to do with the behaviour of the Bible heroes, their fears, failures, courage, victory and stands in certain given conditions. The students will learn how to conquer his weakness through heart purity and the Holy Ghost power.
CRE 0044. CLASSICAL EDUCATION 1
Classical education 1 is the Biblical methods to bring children of between the ages of 6 and 12 to Christian reasoning, Christian life and to full salvation in Christ. This is an educational course that deals with the life behaviour, and reasoning of children of such age range. It is a full psychological teaching that will bring such children to Christ. The student will learn how to convert the children to Christ and build them with the word of God. This course will make the student to have regards for children.
CRE 0045. CLASSICAL EDUCATION 11
Classical education 11 is the Biblical methods to bring the youths of between the ages of 13 and 20 to Christian faith, Christian life and maturity. This is an educational course that reveals the weakness, failures, reasoning and ambitions of the youths. This course will treat the problems of junior youth of 14 to 19 years and that of the older youths of 20to 30 or 35 years of age. This course will help the student to understand the youths and use their zeal to build his church. This course will make the student the custodian of educational knowledge.
CRE 0046. CLASSICAL EDUCATION 111
Classical education 111 is the Biblical methods to bring the average ladies, adult women, mothers and female adults of marriage age and motherhood into knowledge. This is an extension of women ministry in education form. This course treats all about women weakness, reasoning, problems, anxiety, temperament and things they face in their marriage and homes. It gives insight on how to solve such problems and bring women to normal Christian reasoning and maturity. This course will help the student to be a model for Christian leadership. The student will derive the power in gender leadership.
CRE 0047. CLASSICAL EDUCATION IV
Classical education IV is on academic course which uses Biblical methods to bring adult and average male members to Christian reasoning, Christian life and maturity. This course unveils the weaknesses of men, family problems on their neck, life struggles, fears and all inadequacies of men and produces Biblical answers on how to solve the problems. The student will learn how to lead, coordinate and go along with his men in his church. This is the extension of men's fellowship in academic plat-form. The student will be a Bible moulded director in the church after passing through this course.
CRE 0048. SCRIPTURAL SCHOLASTICISM 1 MATTHEW -REVELATION
This is what was known as Bible College before and the real Bible College started with this course at the first century AD. This course has to do with full studies of persons, places and events in the Bible and report the same in writing when needed. Scriptural scholasticism 1 is to study from the books of Matthew down to the revelations and bring out characters, events, places or words that play major role and write them out as a project as may be demanded by the instructor. This course must have its own handout but the main textbook is the Bible. While teachers teach with the handout students are expected to come with their Bibles. This course will make the student to be Bible authority.
CRE 0049. SCRIPTURAL SCHOLASTICISM 11 (ISAIAH-MALACHI)
The scriptural scholasticism (ss11) is an educational Biblical course which studies the prophets, prophecies, people and places in the seventeen books of the prophets in our Bible. The student is mandated to study these books and search out issues, places, prophecies, people and events that played the key roles in the books and report the same in a different document, as may be demanded by the instructor. Although the course has its own handout, but the main textbook is the Bible. The student will be helped to be a Bible authority after this course and this course will make him great.
CRE 0050. SCRIPTURAL SCHOLASTICISM 111 (1 SAM- SONGS)
This is an academic course dealing on Biblical issues. It has to do with the people, places, matters, events, religions or those that played the key roles in the books of the Bible between 1 Samuel and songs of Solomon. The student is mandated to cover the books and report back to the lecturer when demanded. The course has its own handout but the Bible is the main textbook for the course. The student will be helped to understand the issues and things that constituted these part of the Bible and will also discover why some heroes failed and why others succeeded, while, their secrets will be known and taken. The student after this course will be expert in conflict management.
CRE 0051. SCRIPTURAL SCHOLASTICISM IV (GENESIS- RUTH)
The scriptural scholasticism IV is an academic course taken from the Bible knowledge and experiences from the books between Genesis and Ruth of the Old Testament. The student is mandated to read and cover these books and bring out the people, the places, rivers, hills, mountains and the events that played key roles in this part of the Bible. The course like every other course should go with handout but the original textbook is the Bible. This course will help the student to know how to take right decision and how to manage the church of God.
CRE 0052. TEMPERAMENTAL STUDIES
This course has to do with the four basic temperaments, which are (a) sanguine (b) choleric (c) melancholy (d) phlegmatic. The positive and negative effects of our temperaments will be discoursed, how to detect them in our congregation and their peculiar approaches to our ministries shall be discussed. The attitude of each temperament shall be looked into. The Holy Ghost filled believer and his temperament and the unsaved persons and their temperament shall be looked into. The student will be helped to understand man as he continues in ministry.
CRE 0053. INTRODUCTION TO BEHAVIORAL THEORIES
This course has to do with behaviors, actions, prompt words, prompt treatment and prompt response and all products of inner heart conditions and all psychological pains in man. The issue is “WHY DOES MAN DO WHAT HE DOES” why is this man behaving this way? Or why did he do that? Every behavior has a cause and the very cause is the purpose of this lecture. This course will treat the causes of FEAR, ANXIETY, GUILT, ANGER, SUSPICION, DOUBT, MOTIVATION, WEAKNESS, SHAME, SHYNESS, INFERIORITY COMPLEX, BOLDNESS, AND COURAGE and other psychology course will help the student to know where-of others are passing through pains and the fields of others which will help him to know what to teach and preach in order to build his church.
CRE 0054. PRINCIPLES OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT
This is course dealing on how to develop all hidden skills, natural talents and spiritual gifts of the believer. It is on how a believer can develop his ability to achieve his life dreams. The issues of vision, goal setting, planning, zeal, motivation, diligence and all forms of divine inputs of man shall be studied as keys to self-development. This course will help the student to discover that he has all it takes to be what God says one should be. The student after this course will learn how to use what he has, where he stands and all at his reach to pursue all he needs in life.
CRE 0055. DELUSIOLOGY
This is an academic approach to deal with accusations to Christian faith from other religious groups of the world, false teaching from false sects in Christianity and occultic practices from non-Christian organizations. This course fights against false teachings, false prophecies, false miracles, fake prophets, heresies and other documents presented by other religious groups what are they saying about the true teachings of Jesus and how to use our documents to counter their already circulated documents. The students will learn how to use documents to counter false document in circulation.
CRE 0056. CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY
This is a course that treats people's activities, beliefs, life, character, social value, language, trade, religion, behaviour, philosophy and all about people's ideology. The major peoples are the Africans. Although we may also study the activities of some nations we read in our bible. This academic course will help the student to be missionaries and church planters. This course will help the student to be an authority in missionary works and church planting ministry. The focus of this course is to help missionaries to know where to start and what to do when called to preach, live or work in a different culture, different tribe or in particular race.
CRE 0057. SCHOLASTIC EVALUATION
This course is designed to build the reasoning and practices of the student. This course has to with reading habit which a particular book shall be recommended for the students to read, to cover all or to read from recommended for the portions of the book and report back from recommended for the portions of the book and report back from what the instructor may require the students to report in writing. This is otherwise called reading assignment in order to build both reading and writing vocabularies of the students. The lecturer may prepare his handout but every assignment may be based on what the students read out of the assigned textbook.
CRE 0060. ECCLESIOLOGY I
This course is on church business in general, the studies of the church and the mission of the church on earth. What is the church business on earth. What is the church? Why is the church existing and where will the church living forever? How did the church come to be? These and many more will be the focus of this course, it is to explain the purpose of the church and the meaning of the church. This course focuses on the doctrines, life and existence of the church of Jesus Christ. This course will help the student to understand why the church exists.
CRE 0061. ECCLESOLOGY II
This course is on what the church owes itself (what the church owes the church). It is an in-depth study of what the church can do to itself in order to survive, grow and succeed. It is primarily on the business of the church within the church environment and for the church alone. This study tells many business of the church that are needed by the students to understand church ministry for the church and in the church.
CRE 0062. ECCLESIOLOGY III
This course teaches how the clergy and laities shall work together in the local church to achieve the will of God in the church. It is ministries of the pew and the pulpit to attract growth, spiritually and survival. This is called combined ministry of the pulpit and the pew in the church for greater glory in church. This course explains how every member can act as a minister and contribute his idea, services and talents for the greater glory in the church.
CRE 0063. ECCLESIOLOGY IV
This course deals on the primary purpose of the church in the world. The mission of the church in the world and how can the church actualize the mission. This course teaches how the pastor and members can work together to actualize the mission of the church in the world. This course reveals that the church has a business in the world which are soul winning and world evangelization. This course will make the student to understand the importance of both the Pastor and members in the business of world missions and soul winning.
CRE 0063. DISCIPLESHIP
This courage is on how to train, groom, equip and disciple followers to be like their leader. It is a leadership course and fully treats on how the mentored shall be like his mentor through daily training, leadership and scriptural instructions. This course unveils how a student can through learning becomes a teacher, how the disciple shall through following becomes a leader and how a follower can through following becomes a director. This course can help the student to be a good example of Christian leaders. This course will help the student to be a teacher, leader, mentor and a good organizer. Follower of his leaders.
CRE 0064. PRINCIPLES OF ECCLESIIASTICAL EQUIPMENT
This is an academic course on how to build, train mentor, disciple and equip church leaders. This course reveals the needs of spiritual, academic, psychological, social and ministerial equipment needed by church leaders of our days. Another name for this course is “equipping the leaders” because it aims at training the leaders to meet the master's demand. Principles of equipment including education and seminars. This course will help the student to be balanced ministerially and academically.
CRE 0065. BIBLE HEROLOGY
This course will reveal the activities, works, ministries and efforts of Christian heroes, great missionaries, and notable ministers of past, church and ministry founders of past centuries who brought the gospel to our fathers in our land. This is a challenging course that would motivate the student learn the sufferings, sacrifices and seriousness of the past missionaries whose legacy we enjoy today. This course will help the student to be serious.
CRE 0066. MUSICOLOGY
This is the study of the history and theory of music. The students in this course are referred as the musicologists. This course will treat origin, the composers and the writers of Christian songs in S.S and S, Ancient and Modern, Redemption hymns and other documented songs used by the church today. Why such song was composed, the conditions of the writer will be treated. The book of palms also will be reviewed only on the music plat-form to help the student to be vast in the ministry of the Lord and in the church of God .
CRE 0067. MYTHOLOGY
This is the study of both ancient and modern myths. Myths are stories from ancient times, especially ones that were told to explain nature, events or to explain early history of people. It also refers to some stories, ideas, beliefs, and theories that many people believed but do not really exist which are false or fictions. In this sense our study shall be based on the false beliefs of the Palestinian worlds. They believed deities of Baal, a short, Diana and other gods of the people. African and Nigerian myths shall also be considered such as tortoise and rabbit and non- existing myths. This course will build the faith of the student to maintain his faith.
CRE 0068. BLOOD BATHOLOGY
Blood bathology is the study of a situation where or which many people are killed violently. This course is otherwise known as the current affairs in Nigerian religions and politics. This course is centered on religious riots in northern Nigeria that claimed the lives, properties and hope of thousands. This course is called discovery of the causes of such riots, the aims of such riots, the targets of the rioters and the cure to such riots. This course will challenge the students and make them to sit up, be careful and see the task ahead of Christian mission.
CRE 0069. THE PEW AND PUBLICATION RELATION
This course is centered on how to use the church members to reach the world. The pew here is referred to church members who should be trained and equipped by the pulpit to reach the world. This is using the church members to inform the world all the happenings in the church so as to attract the world to the church. It is how to make every church member a public relation officer. This course will help the student to know how to train the believers to catch the big fishes in the ocean (world of sin) and make them saints.
CRE 0070. PRINCIPLES OF JOURNALISM
This course is different from Christian writing. It has to do with how to report news feature writings, news report, newsletters and all public dailies as we see them today in our magazines and newspapers. The law of journalism and the benefit of accurate writing will be disclosed. This is one of the greatest academic courses of this department. The student after this course will gain how to report issues and how to harmonize documents and speeches as well.
CRE 0071. CHRISTIAN WRITING
This is different from principles of journalism, which deals on news. This course has to do with the writing of Christian books and how to write, arrangement of book, the title, contents and the chapter. It helps the writer to have focus, think of his audience and have a particular purpose of writing which shall form all he would want to score in such book. The student will gain how to write after this course.
CRE 0072. PRINCIPLES OF SOCIAL EDUCATION
Principles of social education is an academic course in our Bible college that tends to help the student socially and build him up with social issues, ministerial issues, public matters, public appearances, advanced gatherings and all social involvements to give him social equipment that would make the minister be balanced and fit in every social organization that avoids sin and fitness. This course will educate the student socially and make him bright and bold as a gospel minister in this dispensation.
CRE 0073. PRINCIPLES OF PUBLIC RELATION
This course is different from the pew and public relation, which aims at using the pew to reach the world. Principles of public relation is aiming at equipping the believer, the minister, the leader or church officer for public relation. This is one of the most academic and the forerunners of the course we have here. This is purely on the study of public relation. It is a basic study of what public relations is all about.
CRE 0074. INTRODUCTION TO SOCIOLOGY
Introduction to sociology is an educational course aiming at introducing the student to the activities, business and the general life of the society. The purpose of this course is to build the student with the issues of the present society and to make him fit in at this dispensation. The student will learn how to belong and the need to belong. Other social organizations such as political parties, trade unions, age grades, village meeting and pressure groups will be discussed to help the student. After this course the student will be very wide in understanding.
CRE 0075. INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY
This is an academic course aiming at unveiling what is psychology, the origin of psychology, means to study psychology, expression of psychology and manifestations of psychological threats. The student will be helped with the basic understanding of what psychology is and what it is not. This course will build, equip, upgrade and, help the student to reason very well and act very well together with the full understanding of others behaviors.
CRE 0076. INTRODUCTION TO PUBLIC SPEAKING
This course has to do with how to arrange talks, how to present talks, the mode of presentation, the appearance of the speaker, his preparation and other laws governing the public speaking. This is to prepare the student to understand the occasion and to know what to say in every given condition. Public speaking will help the student to be a good presenter of the gospel.
CRE 0077. SYMBIOSISOLOGY
The word symbiosis means the relationship of two different persons that live together who depend on each other in special ways to be benefitted from each other. This is an educational course that treats on how pastors can be benefitted from their members and how church members can be richly benefitted from their pastors. This course aims at establishing great and closer relationship between the pastors and their members and make the pew to have great benefits from pulpit, while the pulpit in turn will benefit greatly from the pew. It is a course that will make the church members to depend on the pastor for survival while the pastor in turn will depend on his members for survival, and sustenance.
CRE 0078. SYMPOSIOLOGY
This is course that treats on how to call pastor's meeting for the special training on particular issues or symposium on money, evangelism, meeting of church officers such as group leaders for special training on a special issues like church growth missions or spiritual matters of the church. This is the meeting of the experts (pastors) to discuss important matters affecting their ministries or church at large. This course therefore is a study on how to train experts to be heroes and giants in their fields.
CRE 0079. COMMUNICATION
This is a course on communication as it relates to the gospel. This course will reveal what communication is and what communication is not, principles of communication and all modes and methods of communication shall be discussed and be unveiled. The student shall be blessed with the knowledge of true communication, administration and how to give needed information at the required time.
CRE 0080. INTRODUCTION TO MINISTERIAL ELOCUTION
This course is on elocution which aims at helping the student to be bold, have needed knowledge, power of speech, good diction and proper understanding of word selection both in writing, in reading and in speaking. This course will brush the student and make him very sound in reasoning and in speaking. The student after this course will have the power to express himself boldly irrespective of who are there and what are there.
CRE 0081. EPIDEMIOLOGY
This is the course that deals and treats the spread of heresies in the Christendom. The aim of this course is to deal and to control the spread of heresies, which are spiritual diseases in the church. The issues of major concerns include prosperity without salvation, false prophecies, fake deliverance, denial of hellfire and other important heresies spreading in our days from preachers and from non preachers including those springing from occult groups. The student after this course will learn the truth and the authority to defend the faith.
CRE 0082. ISLAMIC EDUCATION
This course is a challenging course on how the Islamic teachers train their members to adhere to their faith. This course will reveal what is jihad, what is sharia and what is O.I.C and how they are seriously and deeply planted to the infant Muslims before they fight Christianity and others who believe them not. This course will only challenge the student to sit up, be prayerful and always alert.
CRE 0083. LEADERSHIP THEOLOGY
This course is an educational course that directs the church leaders, trains church leaders and disciples church leaders in order to make them very productive. Although the president and founder of our Bible college Emmanu. Ononuju handles this course for something best known to him, still the course remains one of the most fruitful course in the college. This course will help the student to be very sound in his church leadership and in everything for God.
CRE 0084. MANAGEMENT THEOLOGY
Management theology is a course that draws out the project and maintenance of the men, money, machinery, material and the ministry in the church. This is a course designed to build the pastors who are the mangers in the church. It has to do with how to control and maintain the above 5 ms in the church. The president of Eltheco handles this course under presidential talk. The students after this course will learn different strategies to manage their churches for growth, survival and stability. This course will make the students great after studies.
CRE 0085. SCHOOL OF MINISERIES
This is a combination of different ministries of the church. This course majors on preaching, teaching, healing and deliverance. It's emphasis is on the need of Christian, business and they ministries in the Church. This course will help the student to be type of teacher and preacher he would like to be charisma in Christian ministries and helps the students to acquire all. School of ministry is a course that teaches how to preach, teach, heal and how to deliver the demon oppressed. This course will help the student to be balanced in the ministry and the student will learn how to be a gospel minister after this course.
CRE 0086. PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE TEACHING
This course teaches the student on important things needed for effective teaching. It is on the ethics, outlines, and materials and in general philosophy of teaching. It equips the students to know how and why to teach. This course is a great help to the pastors to climb higher in their teaching profession. The student will be a great teacher and the word exposer after this course.
CRE 0087. INTRODUCTION TO STUDIOUS LIFE (STUDIOUSIOLOGY)
This is a course with a single aim of making the students to be very studious “study to show yourself approved, a work man that needed not be ashamed”. This is a motivational course that would take the student to higher level of studios life. It has to do with why, how, what and when shall we study. This course will help the student to be more academic and help them to be very bold in public expressions.
CRE 0088. BISHOPRICISM
This is a course that treats the laws, they don't and dos of the called man and woman. It directs the called man to his rights in the church and in the government. The life, duties and the office of the called man or woman is the focus. This course will help the student to know his duties, his rights and his functions.
CRE 0089. CHURCH GROWTH STATISTICS
This is an academic and educational course that deals on general statistics of the church ranging from growth, the number of people that joined the church in a year, number that left and how best the pastor should take records of both members and property of the church as a part of his pastoral duties. This course deals on proper records of men, money, materials, ministries and the machineries of the church. The student will learn how to be a preserver of what were handed over to him after this course.
CRE 0090. INTRODUCTION TO EDUCATIONAL MANNERISM
This course has to do with the culture of education, classroom mannerism, ethics and that, which would make the student to understand his teacher. It has to do with what the teacher would do to get the audience and how the listeners should do to understand their teachers. This course will help the student to be the type of teacher and preacher he would like to be.
CRE 0091. INTRODUCTION TO ENGLISH LANGUAGE
This course has to do with the study of English. The student will be helped to understand, use and speak the Basic English language. The vocabulary of the student will be enlarged through this course. This course is for the general students.
CRE 0092. INTRODUCTION TO SEMITIC LANGUAGES
This course has to do with four Semitic languages to give the students the real languages in which the bible was written.

These courses will help the students to understand the original languages in which our Bible books were written.
CRE 0093. MYRMIDONOLOGY
The word above means carrying out orders without question. It is in agreement with Christian obedience to the Holy Ghost without any question of how and why? We are called to obey God totally. This course teaches how a leader can fully depend on God's word, obey God, surrender all to God and do all that God has assigned to him without doubt, fear, unbelief or negative questions. This course will create faith in the student and make him to be productive in what God has called him to do.
CRE 0097. REPUTEOLOGY IV (MATT-REV)
This course has to do with the meanings and significances of names found in the entire New Testament of our Bible and to consider the help or harm such names of people, Places, Mountains, rivers and other things rendered to the entire New Testament world and the church at large. This course will help the student to understand the power and authority in naming and in world in general.
CRE 0098. HISTORY OF CHRISTIAN MARTYRS
This course has to do with believers in Christ who were killed or murdered because of their faith in Christ Jesus, how they were killed, where they were killed, and why they were killed.
CRE 0099. HISTORY OF WESTERN EDUCATION
This course treats how education started in western world with concentration on ancient writing and reading. Nevertheless, Egyptian history of writing and reading will be put into consideration. This course will help the student to understand all about western education.
CRE 1000. INTRODUCTION TO CHARACTER AND BEHAVIORAL STUDIES
This course majors on the five major temperaments ,how people react and why do people do what they do. This is a general psychological study with references to the character of notable heroes from and outside the Bible.
CRE 1001. PRINCIPLES OF SOCIAL EDUCATION
This course has to do with social education and the influence of education in our society and the influence of society in our present education. This course is totally on the principles to effect successful influence in the present education and its social impact.
CRE 1002. EFFECT OF WESTERN EDUCATION IN NIGERIA
This course deals with effects and advantages of western education in Nigeria with concentration on the eastern Nigeria development. This course will go along with the activities of the missionaries in Nigeria, which later gave birth to education and other part of developments in Nigeria. It is on what western education brought to us and how we are blessed through that.
CRE 1003. CONCEPT OF INTERNATIONAL THEORIES
This course surveys some theories that are internationally accepted such as those issues debated by church fathers, some debatable issues in the Bible, ideas and beliefs projected by some scholars; philosophers and some theologians. This course will develop the student greatly. This course surveys those theories and helps the student to know what others have earlier projected before today.
CRE 1004. INTRODUCTION TO YOUTH EDUCATION
This course treats how to train and equip the youths and to bring them to the knowledge of the truth and life. Education of the youth is the major focus of this course. How can the youths be trained? What are the strategies? Which methods are best for such training? Why should the youths be trained? What are necessary impacts needed in such training? Do you have any advantage in youth's education? This course aims at showing the possible means of educating the youths.
CRE 1005. INTRODUCTION TO WORSHIP TECHNOLOGY
This course has to do with the Christian and the worship education (technology). The focus of this course is to bring out scriptural and social things necessary to promote Christian worship. The student will through this course learn how to worship God and how to bring down God's hand through worship. This course reveals those things that are in agreement with true worship and devotion.
CRE 106. INTRODUCTION TO LAY MINISTRY EDUCATION
This course is a full time course on the ministry education of the laities. What are the ingredients of training the laities, what are the obstacles in training the laities and how can the laities be sensitive to ministry education. What is ministry education and when is ministry education very necessary to implement? This course is aimed at finding ways to helping the laities in the ministry and seeking better means to training all laities in the church of God for them to be great and be epitome of the gospel ministry.
CRE 107. PRINCIPLES OF EDUCATION
This course deals on principles and methods of education. It aims at producing things necessary to give qualitative education and things that make education realistic and factual. This course focuses at helping the student discover these ingredients of proper education. What are the principles, what are the needs?
