4. COURSES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
CMM 101. O.T MINISTRY 1
This course is full study of the Ministries found in the Old Testament books from Exodus to judges. The major emphasis are on the ministries of Moses and Joshua with greater consideration o the ministries of Aaron, Caleb and the Judges in Israel. What Moses did, and what Joshua did shall be the great emphasis and the true pictures of this course. It is on Moses and Joshua ministries and not on the books of their activities. Judges and Aaron's activities together with Moses ministries as our study. This course will help the student to be executive ministries of the New Testament church.
CMM 10 2. O.T MINISTRY 11
This course is on the Old Testament ministries from the book of I Samuel to the book of second Chronicles. The action ministries and performances of Samuel, Saul, David and Solomon will be majored with regards and treatments to the ministries and activities of other kings in such books. Those that pleased God and those that displeased God will be seen and studied. Thus all kings in Israel and their activities will be studied with greater emphasis on Samuel, Saul, David and Solomon. This course will help student to be a careful minister.
CMM 103. O.T MINISTRY 111
This course covers the books of Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther. The major emphasis will be on the ministries of Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Mordechai and the kings of Persia that reigned in those days. The activities of Israelites of those days shall be looked into. The study is on the ministries and not on the book survey. This course shall help the student to be diligent in this ministry.
CMM 104. O.T MINISTRY IV
This course covers all the books of the major prophets. The emphasis is on the five books of the major prophets. This course will study how many times “thus said the Lord” appeared in these books, strong emphasis, course, condemn actions in actions and rebukes to nations shall be studies. The books of Isaiah, Ezekiel and Daniel shall be focused. Actions, works, ministries, miracles and great events in these books shall be discussed. The course will make the student to be a determined minister of the gospel.
CMM 105. N.T MINISTRY I
This course has to do with ministries found in the four gospels. They are specifically on Jesus ministries of healing and deliverance. The numbers of healing and deliverance performed by Jesus, their chapters, significance's and literal meaning shall be exposed. This course will help the student to believe the continued healing ministry of Jesus till date.
CMM 6. N.T MINISTRY II
This course will base on the teachings and preaching of Jesus, the outreaches of the disciples, miracles in the ministries of the disciples found in the four gospels or their activities as seen in the first four books of the New Testament. This course will dwell on the disciples, activities of the disciples as were observed in the four gospels, while with Jesus and what the disciples did after Jesus ascension to heaven. Emphasis shall be laid on how the apostles formed their ministries which shall be our examples. The course shall dwell much on the sayings of Jesus that have formed our basic doctrines today
CMM 107. N.T MINISTRY III
This course has to do with the ministry, outreaches, actions and efforts of the apostle in the fifth book of the New Testament (Acts of the Apostle). The Focus shall be healing, deliverance and all restoration ministries by the apostles in the book of Acts. This course shall help the student to be a courageous and powerful gospel; minister of our age.
CMM 10 8. N.T MINISTRY IV
This course has to do with the ministries of the church fathers who compiled the bible, solidify the faith and build doctrines for the church according to the scriptures. The efforts of the church fathers are the main focus in this course. This course will help the student to trust and stand for God and the gospel in every given condition in his ministry.
CMM10 9. MOSIACOLOGY

CMM 110. CHRISTIAN STEWARDSHIP
This course is on believer's service, works of faith and duties in the church of God we are stewards while the Lord is the husbandman (the master of the work). This course teaches how to work for God, where to work for God, why should a believer work for God. The duties of the stewards and benefits of every steward. The area of stewardship such as finance, time, evangelism, healing and other services needed in the church God. This course will help the student be a good minister of the gospel.
CMM 111. REGRESSIOLOGY
This is a course that treats the downfall of the church, the failures of the church and Christian of this century. The course gives light on why, where and how the believers have fallen from their normal standards and from their expected vision and mission. The course is all about the doctrine and spiritual deviation of the present day church. This course will help the students to keep up moving and to stand for God even in times of scarcity and famine.
CMM 112. JESUS PATTERN OF MINISTRY 1
This course speaks and treats Jesus pattern of Ministry in soul wining. It talks about Jesus teachings and practices in soul winning, evangelism and follow up as were taught and practiced by Jesus who shall be our example in this study. How system of discipleship shall be majored as Jesus makes the student to be epitome of Jesus Ministry and help him to be vibrant in ministry.
CMM 113. JESUS PATTERNS OF MINISTRY 11
This course speaks and treats Jesus pattern of ministry in healing and deliverance. It is all about Jesus teachings and practices in healing and in deliverance. The course will unveil how Jesus healed and deliver the oppressed. Scriptures referring to such shall be used. This course will help the students to be true Jesus disciples in the ministries of healing and deliverance and to use biblical methods in such ministries.
CMM 114. JESUS PATTTERN OF MINISTRY 111
This course is all about Jesus parables, prophecies and teachings about the kingdom. The meaning of Jesus parables, the prophecies of his coming and the signs as were revealed by Jesus himself and what Jesus says about his kingdom shall be discussed as the main discourse of this matter. The course shall help the student to understand Jesus teachings and prophecies and help him to be a strong Christian in the times of false teachings. This course goes with an open bible to see where they really happened.
CMM 115. JESUS PATTERN OF MINISTRY 1V
This course is all about the last ministries of Jesus on earth. These course is found in the last three chapters of the book of Mathew. The last two chapters of Mark, the last four chapters of Luke and the last three chapters of John's gospel. This course is all about Jesus arrest, judgment, crucifixion, death, burial, are powerful resurrection of Jesus, and his bodily ascension to heaven. These issues are the greatest miracles on earth and in the bible. They are the purpose of Christian faith, why Jesus came and the only reason
we have El Theological College and International Institute of Missions Nigeria. The purpose of this course is to prove that Jesus really was crucified, died, buried, resurrected and finally ascended to heaven. Ascension to heaven was Jesus last earthly ministry. This course will make the student to defend the faith and to stand and trust Jesus all the days of his life.
CMM 1 16. ETHICS OF PROPHETIC MINISTRY
This course teaches the biblical prophecies and harmonizes the Old and New Testament prophecies. It explains and introduces the example of bible prophecies and fake prophets of our century and encourages the sincere ministry of prophecy. It explains the difference between the prophets and the prophesier. The ministry of a prophet and the gift of prophecy. This course will help the student to be very mindful of occult prophets of our time.
CMM 117. PRINCIPLES OF INTERCESSORY MINISTRY
This course has to do with intercession, especially for the unconverted, unchurched areas, Muslim communities and for the heathen words. It simply means praying for other as a full time ministry and as a devoted business of the Lord. It is the ministry of A MAN AT THE GAP. It requires love, sympathy and burden to form a true intercessory ministry. The minister of intercession must be a sacrificial person and very spiritual. This course will help the student to see untouched ministry of the Lord.
CMM 18. ETHICS OF WARFARE MINISTRY
(PRESIDENTIAL TALK)This course has to do with warfare prayers. Offensive prayers, binding and losing with prophetic utterances in the ministry. This course is on how to organize and to make offensive and serious attacks to Satan and resisting issues in life, in ministry or at homes. The students will learn how to be a war man for the Lord through this course. This course will make the student to be very serious and to discover other hidden and spiritual elements that fight the church, homes and individuals.
CMM 119. ANALYSIS OF BENEVOLENT MINISTRY
This course has to do with sacrificial and charitable ministries of helping and all supportive ministries such as orphanage, helping the widows, prisoners, the sick, motherless and the fatherless. It is the ministry for the poor and less privilege. It is on how to organize such ministries and the need for such ministries. The course opens the eyes of the student to see the abandoned business of God, which is so neglected by the church but so regarded by the Lord. This course teaches on how to be involved in this ministry on full time and how charitable organization can be used to serve God and humanity faithfully.
CMM 120. KNEEOLOGY
This course teaches all about Christian prayers, petitions, and supplications and how to get things from God and obtain divine favour. The course is on how to pray, the need for prayers, the purpose of prayers and the man of prayers. This course will make the student to make prayers as a full time ministry and full time business of the Lord. This course deals on the need to pray and to kneel in order to communicate to God and to get things from our father. This course will make the student to be a true minister of the gospel.
CMM 121. PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN PIETY
This course is on the process and ingredients that make a minister very pious or a devoted Christian. This is on the principle issues that makes Christian devotion very rich, very real and very visible. How can a minister be spiritual, a faithful follower, serious minded and pious, very in nature. This course will help the student to be very pious, very spiritual and very close to God. The student will learn how to be alone with God. In order to achieve close relationship with God.
CMM 122. CHARISMATOLOGY
This course has to do with the studies on how to acquire spiritual gifts, how to use spiritual gifts, when to desire the spiritual gifts and the benefits of spiritual gifts. The course also will unveil the needs of spiritual gifts in our ministries. This course will build the student to be spiritually rich and daily flowing with signs and wonders in his ministry. The names and number of spiritual gifts shall not be neglected as we study this course as well.
CMM 123. MATRIMONIALOGY
This course treats about Christian marriage, whom to marry, when to marry, how to marry, where to marry and all biblical laws governing Christian marriage. It reveals the duties of man in marriage, the actions of God in Marriage. This course also treats only the process of Christian marriage down to the wedding ceremony. This course will help the student to know the Christian standard and conditions of marriage.
CMM 124. PRINCIPLES OF FAMILY LIVING
This course has to do with the spiritual principles that sustain the Christian family. It speaks about family prayers, family altar, bible reading, family devotion and how to bring up children in the fear of God at home. This course is totally on the spiritual side of the Christian family and what keeps the fire still burning. This course will help the student to understand the secrets of family survival.
CMM 125. PRINCIPLES OF HOME MANAGEMENT
While family living deals of spiritual, home management deals on physical. This course is on the management of material issues at home. It has to do with how to manage the income, time, business, family fellowship and how to control and train children at home. This course spelt thoroughly the duties of the man, the duties of the woman and the duties of children at home. It has much to do with family leadership and principles of physical sustenance. This course will help the student to be family counselor and crisis controller.
CMM 126. PNUEMA FIERIOLOGY
This course is a powerful and charismatic course dealing on the holy ghost fire and divine fire from God. It nevertheless speaks on the positive side of the fire. It teaches on how to be on fire for God, why is it necessary for a believer to be on fire always, when to release Holy Ghost fire from heaven, where to release fire, why to release the fire? The course teaches the danger of releasing fire and only when it is too needful to release fire. The course explains the difference between the fire of God and the Holy Ghost fire and teaches that we receive the Holy Ghost fire but release the fire of God. This course will prepare the student to always be on fire for God.
CMM 127. PULPIT BUSINESS
This course is full on the general business, secular and social business of the church, such as launching, thanks giving, fund raising and as many thing as the church may deem necessary as primary business of the time. The activities of the pastor shall be on view as we study this course. This course shall help the student to be a sound man of God.
CMM 128 ANTICIPATOLOGY
This course has to with positive desire, positive thinking, positive reason, positive action and straight forward vision and mission that can lead to greatness. It motivates the student to desire rightly, act rightly and plan rightly in order possess rightly and live rightly. This course encourages forward actions, diligences and vision but makes the student to think wisely and positively and act alike also.
CMM 1 29. STORMOLOGY
This course has to do with life crisis, poor income, hard time and physical pains. It reveals the will of God, dealings of God, plans of God and actions of God in crisis and life tempest. It goes further to reveal the possible causes of crisis, storms and famines now and in bible days. This course will help the student to control family crisis. Personal crisis and storms of life.
CMM 130. CONFLICT MANAGEMENT
This course is on how to manage, control, and deal and to cope with conflict, crisis, disagreement and cold wars in the church. It reveals the biblical truth on how to settle church disagreement, church cases, church storms and church troubles outside the court. It introduces the biblical principles to handle matters, pressures, and crisis in order to restore peace in the church. This course will help the student t o be solid crisis expert in the church.
CMM 131. VINE YARD MANNERISM
This is an agricultural terminology dealing with the farm and the farmer. It is a terminology dealing with the farmer and his farm products or crops. This course has to do with the leaders relationship with God that attracts other to him. This course presents the leader as the vine dresser and his church members as vine fruits. The course is on what the vine dresser would do in his vineyard to make it more fruitful. The truth on the course is the secrets of fruitfulness. What shall we do to be fruitful, productive and multipliable in our ministries is the true target of this course. This course will reveal to the students those things that make people to be fruitful.
CMM 132. SHEPHERDING 1
This course is on the call of a shepherd, who is a shepherd? The life and integrity of a shepherd. This course is rather on the person of the shepherd instead of the duties of the shepherd. His spiritual life, home and his ministerial training shall be discussed on this issue. This course will help the student to understand the integrity of the shepherd.
CMM 133. SHEPHERDING 11
This course is on the works and visions of the shepherd. It is the duties of the pastor in this church. His church duties administrations and businesses as they concerned his local church and how to carry on the church as an organization. The course is on what the pastor owes his local church and what to do in his local church as an organization in order to move it forward.
CMM 134. SHEPHERDING 111
This course has to do with what the pastor, as a shepherd owes an individual in his church or what the shepherd owes a single sheep in his farm. The duties of the pastor to individual members of his church is the key to this study and how he can care for each person as a member in a congregation is the focus of this lesson. The Student will learn how to care and comfort each individual with different problems in his local church. This course will prepare student to be expert in pastoral businesses.
CMM 135. SHEPHERDING 1V
This course has to do with the pastor's extended ministries in the society, in other local churches, across denominations, outside the church community and in other institutions. This course teaches that the pastor is not only for the local church but for all and beyond the church community. The student will be helped to understanding that pastoral business is a universal business.
CMM 136. OUTREACH MINISTRY
This course teaches all about ministries that are carried outside the church, such as evangelism, soul winning, music ministry, drama, outdoor crusades, tracts ministry, publication ministry, radio, T.V, Motor and other mobile ministries. Outreach ministry is a rich ministry carried outside the pulpit. The mode and mood of outreach ministries shall be the focus of this course. Students will be helped to discover greater honey and milk outside the pulpit.
CMM 137. NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH MINISTRY
This course is on the fivefold ministries of the New Testament. It unveils the fivefold ministry as were revealed by Ephesians 4:11-12. This course speaks on the purpose of the ministries of the Apostle, prophet, Evangelist, pastor and teacher in today's ministries and in our churches today. This course will help the student to discover where he was called and his special assignment from the Lord.
CMM 138. YOUTH MINISTRY
This course is of two folds, one is on the life of the youth and the other is on the businesses of the youth in the society, in the church and in his private career. This course is fully on how to help the youth grow richly in grace and how to help the youth work effectively in grace. This course will help the students to know how to handle the youths in his local church and in his community, town or village.
CMM 139. LAY MINISTRY
This course is the course that treats how to use the laymen and women in the church to effect growth and productivity in the church of God. This course unveils the potentials in the lay members and how best to tap such out of them for the growth of the church. It is on how to train, use, utilize, groom and disciple the lay people in the church for the growth of the church. It is on how to fix the lay members in positions where they can feature very well for the church growth. This course will help the student to be discipliner in the church.
CMM 140. WOMEN MINISTRY
This is called gender ministry where women are equipped groomed and disciplined for the business of the Lord. Women ministry is a necessity in every local church and in every denomination, for indoor prayers, evangelism, market outing, open air, visitation and other ministries of the church. The pastor's wife (the shepherdess) should be key leader and motivator of this ministry. This course teaches how to use women to achieved growth, revival and spirituality in the church of God.
CMM 141. EQUIPING THE SAINTS
This course is on how to keep the church workers fresh and lively for the smooth running of the church. The equipment includes how to direct the church worker to prayer, to devotion, to studies and how to help him acquire the spiritual gifts, holy heart, holy living and how to evangelize. The equipments are of three folds, which include academic equipment, spiritual equipment and charismatic equipment, all for the business of God.
CMM 142. HOMILETICS
This course treats how to preach, what to preach, when to preach, and why to preach. It is a course that harmonizes preaching, the kinds of sermon, the nature of sermon and the mode of sermon. It is a pulpit theology and teaches how the pastor should dress, appear and behave before his sermon. This course will help the student to be good preacher.
CMM 143. PRODIGIOLOY
This course has to do with the methods of achieving our life goals. It has to do with how to succeed how to score our goals, how to be great and how to be vision oriented leader in order to achieve greatly. This is the ministry of great achievements.
CMM 146. THE CHURCH BUSINESS STRATEGIES
This course is on how business is formed, what are the things needed in every institution such as the church, school, business centers, families, hospitals and other sacred and secular institutions. This course treats four stages of every institution such as form stage, storm stage, and norm stage and performs stage. It also gives guidelines on how each stage should be handled to avoid an abnormal storm which is the greatest conflict in every institution. Business shall be unveiled especially as it concerns the church as God's own institution and business. This course will help the student to know how to handle matters in his church and elsewhere
CMM 147. PASTORAL MINISTRY
This course is all the pastor's ministry of caring, preaching, teaching and overseeing the local church and members activities in the church. In this case about four things are seriously required:
a. Preaching and teaching the members
b. Praying and caring for the members
c. Visiting and helping the members
d. Loading and overseeing the members
The Student will learn all about the duties of the pastor in the local church.
CMM 148. NOMADIC ETHICS
This course is on the code of conducts, character and life of the nomads. There are four basic characters of the nomads, which include:
a. Going along with their animals
b. Sleeping in the bush with their animals
c. Searching for the needed food for their animals
d. Guiding their animals. The pastor is a shepherd and also a nomad who goes about with his flocks.
Four things are required of the pastor to keep his members living and following among these four things like the nomads are these:
a. Compassion, empathy and caring for souls
b. Guiding the members against spiritual wolves and killers
c. Going to the members and knowing their problems in order to solve them.
d. Feeding the members with the needed materials and spiritual food.
The student will through this course learn how to preserve souls.
CMM 149. PSYCHOLOGY OF CHURCH GROWTH
This course has to do with two things (a) things that will help the church to grow and (b) things that will hinder the church from growing. This course deals on life, attitude, behaviuors and programmes that can bring about the growth of the church and those that can hinder the church from growing. It emphasizes on the reasoning, thinking, planning and statement that can generate church growth and those that are anti-church growth. The student will discover his mistake after this course and will correct it for his church growth.
CMM 150. RAPPORT AND INTER-PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
This course teaches how to create relationship, how to create friends and to cooperate and move with people of different temperaments. This is the course that creates the possibility of getting along with people irrespective of their educational level, social status, tribes, race, differences and their negative opinions. This course makes rooms or accommodating all opinions and thoughts without hurting anyone. The student will learn how to enjoy relationship with others after this course.
CMM 151. ETHOS OF MINISTRY
This course is on the ethics or mode of conducts of the gospel ministers. Independent ministry is a ministry not owned or established by any church or any existing Christian Organization but a single gospel minister. The ministry may operate from the church hall or in the church hall or rented hall, still not by the church.
