El university of Theology has only one denomination in the campus and that denomination is “JESUS CHRIST” therefore every student is expected and mandated to worship at the chapel service everyday between 11.30am and 1pm every day. It is the worship of God’s people full of Holy ghost, with powerful preaching from the altar of God. Every student must be in the chapel service of the university irrespective of his church post, office occupied, his age, colour, race or church affiliation.

Students of the university are men and women who want to be more useful in God’s hand and in the society, who want to be great, who want to be built and those who want their hidden potentials to be developed, while their unknown giants to be unveiled.   1. STUDIES IN THE SCHOOL

Studies start by 8am and ends by 4pm on Mondays - Friday s for the full time and regular students of the university. The students are very great, academic and wonderful. Each student is expected to be in school on or before 8am each day and is expected to study up to seven (7) courses each day. Our students must be studious, academic, diligent and always prepared for new revelation every day.

  1. FELLOWSHIPS AND PRAYERS

The university has other fellowship days in some evenings including night tarrying, while there are approved periods for both collective and individual prayers in the university. As a Christian university, there is prayer group, choristers of the saints. Fellowship and prayers in the university are not debatable, hence every student is required to attend. Life is very sweet in El university of Theology because the institution fully belongs to God.

  1. LIFE AND FRIENDSHIP

  The spiritual atmosphere, the presence of God and the holiness emphasis of the university compel every student to love, to be friendly, to co-operate and to love one another.   1. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN THE CAMPUS

Students have their rights to play and to do other social activities within the university campus but with carefulness to avoid sin and all its attractions. Social activities like dancing, jumping, singing and other things are allowed but with carefulness and with two eyes open to what the scriptures allow and what the scriptures forbid. All social activities shall never contradict the Bible but Bible shall be used as our mirror both in the school, at home or in public.

Admission is free for all interested candidates who want to be more useful in God’s hand, in the church and in the society at large. Admission in the university is only on JANUARY, APRIL, AND SEPTEMBER of every year, though late entry may be considered depending on the genuine of the excuse.

  1. REGISTRATION AND MATRICULATION

Every student registers and matriculates once and qualifies for studies. No student is fully admitted without matriculation and all students that matriculated must be issued the number as a result of his or her full admission into the university. Matriculation is once for the student.

The university is situated in an academic environment, the area where students study at ease, without any disturbances and without any tension. Each student in the university is expected to take at least twelve (12) courses each trimmest which their exams each student must sit for.   1. STUDY PERIODS

The study periods for regular students in El university is between 8am and 4pm. Students are expected to be in their classes by or before 8am each day of studies. The study days for the regular students are Monday – Friday of every week. No student is expected to be absent unless on official excuse or on acceptable reason for absence.   1. GRADUATION QUALIFICATION

El university of Theology as the most academic theological institution in Africa has the highest quality of courses and the highest academic standard in the continent. El university of Theology does not graduate any student with less than the required level of pass marks, therefore, any student with less than the GPA (cum) of 2.00 or with less than the average of 50% shall not graduate but shall re-seat for the failed courses in order to upgrade his or her marks or score.

  1. THE CREDIT HOURS IN A MONTH

Each student is expected to cover not less than 35 credit hours in a month. This higher credit hours made the university to be unique, peculiar and rich. The courses are very deep, very high, very academy and very scholastic, therefore, students and regular in order to meet up with the credit hours.

  1. DURATION OF STUDIES

The  duration of studies for the certificate programs is one year, while Diploma studies take two years and Bachelor degree programs – four years. The post graduate programs stand as follows.

  2. Master Degree programs     -           18months
  3. Doctoral degree programs  -           36 months

The above duration of studies is not shiftable to all regular students of each program.
